First Look: 2023 Air Jordan 11 ‘DMP’

According to leaker zSneakerHeadz, it seems that the second half of the Air Jordan “Defining Moments Pack” is making a comeback with the release of the “DMP” Air Jordan 11 for Holiday 2023. The original “Defining Moments Pack” was released in January 2006 as the first multi-shoe pack from Jordan Brand. It retailed for $295 and honored the sneakers worn by Michael Jordan during the first championship of his two three-peats. The shoes featured gold accents and came packaged with dog tags and a booklet, housed in a two-tier golden box.

Original samples of the “DMP” 11 had “JORDAN” lettering on the eyelets, which can also be found on the 2020’s “Jubilee” 11 that celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan 11. However, the retro version of the “DMP” 11 may not have this detail. Jordan Brand has not confirmed the return of the “DMP” 11 and specific release date details are still unknown.

UPDATE (02/09): The release info for this year’s “DMP” Jordan 11 retro is now more concrete. According to @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the popular colorway is expected to return on December 9 in full-family sizing.

UPDATE (06/22): In-hand images of the 2023 version of the “DMP” Air Jordan 11 have surfaced via @kicksdong on Instagram. As previously rumored, the pair is expected to have a leather upper instead of the mesh seen on the 2006 version. The release date for the pair is December 9, with a retail price of $230.
