Proud father John Legend took to Instagram on Wednesday (Jun. 28) to share photos of the adorable newborn. He captioned the post with “Our new love” after revealing their son’s name. The photos include one of the singer with all four of his children, another of the parents cradling their son shortly after birth, and a close-up of baby Wren, showing his full head of hair.
Chrissy Teigen reflected on their surrogacy journey in a heartfelt Instagram post. She revealed that she had always wanted to have four children. In the emotional note, Chrissy opened up about her struggles with pregnancy, especially after the loss of their unborn son, Jack, in 2020.
However, during the surrogacy process, she decided to try getting pregnant “just one more time.” And it was successful. Their daughter, Esti, was born in January.
Chrissy expressed her gratitude to their surrogate for the “incredible gift” she gave their family and thanked her for giving birth to their son just minutes before midnight on Jun. 19. The surrogate also had the honor of choosing their son’s middle name, Alexander.
In conclusion, Teigen thanked their surrogate once again and stated that their hearts and home are now officially full. She also mentioned that their late son, Jack, was sending angel kisses to their new baby boy.
