Epic Games Announces Partnership Between Fortnite and Nike


In addition to the release of “Airphoria,” Fortnite players will now have the opportunity to purchase the outfits worn by “Airphoria” characters, Airie and Maxxed Out Max, for their own characters. Furthermore, a collection inspired by “Airphoria” will be available for purchase on Nike.com starting today.

It is important to note that Fortnite had previously collaborated with Jordan Brand, a subsidiary of Nike, in 2019 for the limited-time event called “Downtown Drop LTM.” This event featured new challenges and in-game “skins.”

Ron Faris, VP and GM of Nike Virtual Studios, stated, “Airphoria represents a new, immersive experience for Nike as it expands its involvement in gaming and virtual products. As we strive to create a seamless integration of the digital and physical worlds in our offerings, we are constantly looking for genuine ways to strengthen our connection with fans, provide more access to Nike across our digital ecosystem, and foster a love for sports and play.”

The “Airphoria” experience will be available on Fortnite until June 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
