According to an internal Nike document seen by Complex, Nike is planning to release a retro version of the ACG Air Exploraid model in 2024. The document indicates that the shoe will be launched for the Spring ’24 season, with a release date scheduled for February.
Nike has not yet commented on the upcoming retro release.
Originally released in 1999, the original ACG Air Exploraid features a neoprene inner bootie, visible Nike Air cushioning in the heel, and mesh material wrapped around the midsole at the forefoot.

The retro release of the Nike ACG Air Exploraid will commence in February with the original ash green/varsity red/black/neutral grey colorway (style code FJ1920-001), followed by the orewood brown/sail/phantom colorway (style code FJ1920-100) in March. The retail price for these sneakers will be $140.
The ACG Air Exploraid will be available in extended men’s sizing from 3.5 to 15. The initial batches of the shoes will be exclusively released through Nike’s SNKRS app and select “neighborhood” retail partners.
