Following her impressive performance at the BET Awards, rapper Sexyy Red from St. Louis is back with the explicit video for her song “Looking For The H*es (Ain’t My Fault)”. The chorus of the song pays tribute to Silkk The Shocker’s 1998 single “It Ain’t My Fault” with its famous call and response. In the video, Red and her friends can be seen twerking, shaking, and dancing at a house party with no restrictions.
“Looking For The H*es” is a track featured on Sexyy Red’s debut mixtape entitled Hood Hottest Princess. The mixtape also includes her breakout hits “Born By The River” and “Pound Town 2” featuring Nicki Minaj. It was released through Heavy On It and Open Shift Distribution and boasts collaborations with ATL Jacob, Juicy J, Sukihana, and Tay Keith.
Since the release of her mixtape, Red has experienced both the highs and lows of fame. On one hand, she was added to the lineup of the Days Of Summer Cruise Festival, which can be considered a major achievement. On the other hand, she had to abruptly end a performance due to fans throwing objects on stage. However, as she emphasizes in her song, she is not responsible for those incidents. For now, Red is content with staying true to herself, as it is what brought her success in the first place.
