In a recent Instagram post, NBA star Trae Young offered a sneak peek at his latest signature shoe, the Adidas Trae Young 3. Additional images of the model have emerged, providing more insight into the forthcoming release.
The Trae Young 3 showcases a colorway that pays homage to the 1996 Summer Olympics, which took place in Atlanta. The shoe features a green mesh upper with graphics, an internal bootie construction, and a noticeable pink cutout heel counter. One of the most intriguing design elements is the 3D topographic midsole borrowed directly from the Adilette 22 Slides. This unique concept displays the shoe’s complementary colors in a gradient-style arrangement. The outsole is equipped with classic herringbone and customized traction sections. The “Olympics” theme was first introduced on the Trae Young 1 Player Exclusive.
