In her latest music video for the brand new single, “Letters,” Monica is seen in a romantic relationship with The Game.
The video, directed by Richard Selvi, showcases the R&B singer as she writes a heartfelt love letter to her partner in various stunning locations, such as a garden, a room filled with floating letters, and even during a relaxing bubble bath with her Compton co-star.
As the couple enjoys their time together in the bathtub, Monica croons, “They see you and see a thug, yeah, yeah / I see you and see my love, yeah, yeah… You roll up, they run scared, yeah, yeah / But me, I’m running to you with my fears, yeah, yeah.”
“Letters” is Monica’s first single of the year, following her collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign on “Friends” last year.
