Hot off her Essence Music Festival efficiency, Janelle Monae doesn’t plan to chill off anytime quickly. Such is the case in her new video,”Water Slide”.
The highly-provocative visible is much like her earlier “Lipstick Lover” clip, which finds Monae and her group of scantily-clad eye-candies get moist and wild at an out of doors pool celebration.
“If I could fuck me right here right now / I would do that / Looking in the mirror at me, my God like who that?,” she whining and dancing topless and rocking out along with her band. “Feeling myself, wanna play in it / Splash, make a wave in it / I could spend the whole day in it and I’ma do that.”
“Water Slide” is off Janelle Monae’s fourth album, The Age Of Pleasure, her first LP in practically 5 years, that includes 14 tracks with options from Doechii, Seun Kuti, Egypt 80, Grace Jones, Sister Nancy, and extra.
