Darius Daulton Jackson shared his emotions about his relationship along with his girlfriend Keke Palmer on a brand new episode of ‘Baby, This is Keke Palmer.’ As The Shade Room beforehand reported, Jackson made headlines by publicly criticizing Palmer’s look at a latest Usher live performance.

Darius Daulton Jackson Speaks On Going Public With Keke Palmer & His “High Standards” Of Her
During the episode, revealed on Tuesday, Jackson candidly shared his emotions about his once-private relationship with Palmer. According to Entertainment Tonight, he spoke about how “overwhelming” it was for him when their relationship went public.
“At first, it definitely was hard because it could all be very overwhelming. It was definitely overwhelming and intense at first.”
Palmer agreed.
Additionally, Jackson went on to clarify that he felt the “pressure of being perfect” for himself and his girlfriend.
“And it’s like, you almost feel that pressure of needing to be perfect. And so, it really confused me and infiltrated my mind because not only did I have to hold myself to that perfect standard, I was also holding you to a perfect standard as well…”
Jackson continued by explaining that “any moment of flaw” on his “side” or Palmer’s would “lead to World War III.”
“So, any moment of flaw on my side or on your side would lead to World War III because it’s like, man, now the world sees us.”
Keke Palmer Agreed That There Is “A Lot Of Pressure” Now That They’re A Public Couple”
As the dialog continued, Palmer agreed and acknowledged that “a lot of pressure” exists on their relationship.
“It’s a lot of pressure because here’s the thing, we’re public now, and there are things we want to share… but at the same time, we do want to be able to maintain the privacy of our relationship…”
Palmer went on by saying that she feels they’ve “done such a good job at “being able to collaborate” and “be creative” with one another “while also being private.”
